I’m looking for an ambitious and motivated Account Manager who wants to challenge themselves by joining a strong, collaborative team in a large communications agency.

The agency, which forms part of an even larger group provides integrated services and has an excellent reputation for working with big consumer brands and large corporates having both type of team to service these sectors. As an Account Manager in the Consumer department, you’ll work alongside not just other PRs, but also specialists in planning, creativity, digital, content production and broadcast media. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to get involved in new business and marketing work too

The successful candidate will be:

  • Someone with relevant agency experience – delivering consumer campaigns to a high level of quality and creativity within a fast-paced environment;
  • A strong team player – able to build relationships at all levels
  • Hardworking, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, organised – a self-starter who is always keen to put their hand up! You’ll be a trusted pair of hands, be able to work up and down and be confident and able enough to be self sufficient;
  • A digital native with accomplished technical skills, extensive knowledge of both established and emerging online platforms and evidence of active personal social media presence. You’ll have a good working knowledge of social media and have a point of view on how businesses can use these to reach audiences;
  • Ambitious to deliver world class work, working as part of a team – striving for excellence at all times;
  • Great client handler – able to earn the trust of clients and able to present confidently, building a consultative approach in every interaction with clients;
  • Excellent account management – ensuring campaign milestones are met on time, monthly client updates and weekly reporting is prepared and delivered to best practice standards;
  • Keen to contribute to business development through supporting on pitches, proposals, and agency marketing activities – as well as taking the initiative to network, and create potential sales opportunities.
