Gaming and Entertainment have changed. Being part of a digital-first, gamer generation isn’t just a hobby you choose – it’s the sports you support, the clothes you wear, the entertainment you watch, and the culture you live and breathe. Would you like it to be the job you do as well?

OH and this role is a 4 day working week (but yes, you are actually paid for 5) – there is no catch.

This brilliant specialist PR agency knows that Hollywood’s biggest competitor isn’t the next blockbuster movie, but a AAA game franchise release. As a communications consultancy for gaming culture they understand the power of an esports hero onstage in front of millions or a superstar streamer who becomes a style icon. They craft messages that speak to a generation who don’t just play games – they live them.

Based in London, (and working with the teams in LA) their clients span the globe and this role would see you helping the teams manage a host of projects across gaming and digital culture and in time develop your own network and bring in new projects of your own.

Here’s what you’ll be doing

Client support

Working with the broader team (from your first-line manager to senior leadership) on a cross-section of clients:

  • Facilitate regular client needs and keeping accounts organised and on track
  • Help maintain weekly/monthly activity reports, with an eye on key milestones and current activities
  • Help develop supportive client materials, such as media prep sheets
  • Brainstorm new and fresh stories, opportunities and collaborations for brands
  • Monitor and track media coverage and social media sentiment
  • Create coverage reports for monthly and project recaps
  • Create media and events lists
  • Research and evaluate media and speaking opportunities
  • Coordinate calls, meetings and media opportunities

Media relations

  • Actively research and get to know relevant editors and producers
  • Work with the team to develop creative, accurate and authentic news stories
  • Build your own strong network of media friendlies, and maintain those relationships
  • Craft unique and well-tailored pitches to relevant journalists
  • Secure coverage and celebrate wins!
