A brilliant, independent sports and entertainment agency is looking for an experienced and well connected Publicist to join them for a fixed contract for one year, starting after Summer.
The agency works with an exciting roster of talent and brands, although this role will largely be talent focussed. You’ll have the opportunity to support big name talent through various stages of their career from appearances, sporting events and brand deals / partnerships.
The role will focus largely on coverage generation across national and some international media focusing on mainstream consumer audiences from TV to radio, print to online. Working with the PR and Social departments you’ll be part of the overall marketing strategy so you’ll always know what’s going on in the bigger picture and there is also another publicist to support you.
Experience and skills required:
- ‘Blackbook’ of weighty media contacts across a diverse range of outlets
- Experience working with high profile talent
- Genuine interest in the sports industry, understands the sport calendars
- Diplomacy and tact in abundance
- High energy and professional outlook at all times
- At least six years experience working in PR
