A great opportunity to join a high performing agency with a strong reputation and top list of clients across multiple sectors as a Marketing and Business Development Manager. To note – this is NOT a sales role. The role will see you working with a large internal team to drive new business opportunities through developing and delivering marketing campaigns, inspiring events programmes and a best in class pitch process to maintain the agency’s high conversion rate.
Working in a team of eight people and reporting into the Director or Business Development, the ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of PR and marketing and be up to date with the most highly acclaimed campaigns of the last few years as well as key industry trends.
Perhaps you are already in a marketing of biz dev role in a similar agency and want to work for a respected agency with a higher conversion rate? Perhaps you are a PR person in an account handling team and would like to use your skills in a different way?
Key responsibilities include:
- Running the agency event programme day-to-day including working with the studio to create compelling marketing materials and content, securing speakers , working with the production team and dealing with the guest lists.
- PR and marketing including showcasing work online including across social channels and within industry media.
- Overseeing the live pitch processes to drive up pitch conversion rates – you’re involved all the way through from client briefing to RFI, chemistry, RFP and pitches. Work with the studio to project manage pitch artwork and evaluate the new business performance as part of the process.
- Awards! You’ll work with the team to ensure all award options are covered; ensuring all award worth work (which is clearly everything they do!) is packaged up and ready to be judged!
